Jeff Corwin came to make an appearance at the Walk for Wildlife fundraiser event in Miami. When they say "appearance," that's exactly what it was. Jeff came, smiled for a picture long enough to cut the ribbon at the start line, and then he was whisked away by his security. So we don't have any spiffy pictures of us standing next to him or anything.
We saw all kinds of animals like this lady carrying around a gold snake and then a green snake. Another person had a giant parrot.
After the walk, we three were hungry for lunch, so we stopped at this sushi restaurant that was opened by Robert Rojales and his family at Lauderdale Lakes, FL. We already knew them from church and they invited us to stop by any time. Parents Lina and Juanito Rojales; brothers, Eric and Rudy (not in picture); and sister, Dory. By the way, their culinary art is delicious! Do go taste it if you're ever in their area.
