
Jaime and I joined these other individuals to be a part of the medical volunteer team for the Deaflympics. We were able to sit in at different venues and wait for people to get hurt. Of course, it wouldn't be polite to hope for victims, but it was nice to know we could do something if anyone needed anything. :)

We were mostly at the Steiner Hockey Rink, but we did get to go out and see the snowboarding races at Park City. We had our first aid kits in our backpacks and we were on skis in case we had to swoop down on someone. Most of the time the athletes would crash, curse to themselves, refuse help, and just want to get on out of there across the finish line. Nobody wanted to be bothered, really.
